Owned by Michael Lewis-McBride, Nu Tainment, LLC., is the producer of the Miss Gay International, Miss Gay International Trans, Mr Gay International, Miss Gay International Plus, Mr Gay International Plus, Miss Gay International Supreme, Mr Gay International Supreme and Mx International competitions.
There have been several Miss, Mr and Plus Pageants over the years in various countries and locations. Now, a completely international and registered Miss Gay International and Mr Gay International and associated contests have been launched with new guidelines, new mission, new excitement and opportunities.
In celebration of what the gay community has brought to the main stream in the art form of female impersonators, female illusionists, drag, trans, non binary and gay male entertainment in the world, we extend more opportunities and exposure for our LGBTQIA+ family to be a “Symbol of Acceptance” within our organization. We are looking for those exceptional people who want to advance their career and make a difference to society and make Gay International Organization (GIO) and their name heard around the world with what they will contribute for the well being of the society through self esteem and to advocate for the betterment of our community.

"(To) advocate International Acceptance and Human Rights by confirming the essential nature and contributions of LGBTQIA+ people to a healthy society where "gay" is not a stereotype" and to embolden and enhance the gifts of our LGBTQIA+ entertainers through education, empowerment and encouragement throughout our community and the main-stream communities.
Vision
To gather the most well diverse, educated and talented LGBTQIA+ entertainers to compete for the titles within their respective division within the Gay International Organization (GIO) and spread acceptance throughout the world.

Known as the “Symbol of Acceptance”, Gay International Organization (GIO) welcomes contestants from around the world of every race, color, religion, sexual orentation, gender idenity, national origin, age, disability and genetic information. GIO contests represent professionalism and the utmost of quality entertainment. It takes dedication, talent, creativity, glamour, elegance, sophistication, community involvement and desire to entertain to become the Symbol of Acceptance and spread it throughout the world.
As we grow, new national, state and regional preliminaries to the GIO contests, with the winner and first alternate of each preliminary traveling to the next level of competition in hopes of achieving their ultimate goal of becoming the International Symbol of Acceptance by winning at the International finals with the plateform to empower, educate, mentor and uplift our community.
Every contestant gains global exposure with many opportunities within GIO.
